Our focus is innovation-based, traded-sector businesses: ventures building a product, technology, or service that sells beyond this region and brings outside revenue into it. General small business support is delivered well by our partners, and we connect you to them.

Our Mission
The South Central Oregon Regional Innovation Hub is dedicated to cultivating a thriving innovation ecosystem that drives economic development in Klamath and Lake Counties.
Our work is scoped to innovation-based, traded-sector ventures: businesses building a product, technology, or service that sells beyond the region and brings outside revenue into it. General small business support is delivered well by our partner organizations, and we route people to them rather than duplicating that work.
We connect innovators with resources, mentors, and opportunities to turn ideas into successful businesses, while fostering collaboration between the private sector, educational institutions, and government agencies.

Our History
Innovation Hub Klamath and Lake Counties emerged from a collaboration between local business leaders, Oregon Tech, and state economic development agencies.
Recognizing the need for a centralized resource to support Klamath and Lake Counties' emerging innovation community, our founding team worked to create a hub that connects ideas, people, and resources to foster sustainable economic growth in our region.
Today, we're proud to have supported dozens of local startups and small businesses, contributing to job creation and innovation in Klamath and Lake Counties.

The South Central Oregon Regional Innovation Hub (SCORI), representing Klamath and Lake Counties, is supported by Business Oregon as part of the State's Innovation Plan.
